So Many Things to do!

I had so many things to do that I have not posted in awhile. I know I will forget some of them.
Halloween. the quilt with the square and the 4 square is quilted and gone already. This next one I never showed the top but it is the scraps put together in strips with a small strip of black in between. I had some trouble figuring out how to quilt it but its coming out OK. Hopefully will be done soon. In time for the next Halloween for sure.

Next up is the chevron Halloween. I just don't know how to quilt that one with all the colors. different designs in each zig zag? what color thread? I'm still thinking.
I got another baby quilt done. I love the tutorial over at My quilt infatuation. Thanks Kelly! I have made this for a baby gift about 5 times already. It's easy quick and just lovely! For a purple nursery!!
I love the fabrics and wanted to show them off with big pieces.

I also hit a sale at Joann fabrics for flannel and bought a bunch to stock up on flannel blankets for those second babies coming around.
My daughter has a wedding coming up and the couple has very little left on the registry so she decided to do a quilt for a gift and this momma is helping her. We are doing the easy peasy chevron from Kellys blog again!!! Fun, easy and will be great. I look forward to showing the finished product. In progress right now.
Lat year at Christmas we bought some breakfast food for all the gen ed teachers that work with our Sped kids and I made them all a small tissue holder. they all loved it, so this year I am working on luggage tags. 12 done and 20 more to do, but I love em.

Finally, I went to preview night last night at the quilt show. AWESOME!!
My main goal was more of the superior bottom line thread. It is amazing to quilt with. I love it and wanted more colors.
A few extra finds!! I have a year to get it all done! We shall see. It sure will be fun.

  2. Nice luggage tags! Love what you're doing with the Halloween scraps, too. I'd hoped to get my "Sew Spooky" top quilted this year so I could hang it for Halloween. Well. . . here it is, Halloween morning, and I just barely pin-basted it. Obviously, it won't be finished today. ;D But it will be for next year!
